Nathan Warner is the owner and principal consultant of Terrapin Operations Consulting. He was a teacher, data specialist, and school administrator before transitioning to leadership in the nonprofit sector. He is currently Chief Operating Officer at Horton’s Kids, a D.C. nonprofit serving kids and families in Southweast D.C. Earlier, he was Deputy Director of the ACLU of the District of Columbia, where he served as the chief operations, human resources, and financial officer. He is a SHRM-CP certified human resources practitioner and served as lead negotiator on a management collective bargaining team.
He currently lives in Maryland with his wife, cocker spaniel (Minnie), and two tortoises (Sushi and Pretzel).
